North Flintshire Police: Five arrests made as officers respond to 63 calls in a day

North Flintshire police have reported responding to 63 calls for service in the last 24 hours, with 11 of those requiring officers to attend on lights and sirens.
Incidents included two domestic reports, four concerns for safety and eight cases of anti-social behaviour.
Five people were arrested, including one on suspicion of historic sexual offences, one for child neglect and one for multiple shoplifting offences. Officers also confirmed that a suspect mentioned in a previous update was arrested for domestic offences including breach of a Domestic Abuse Protection Order.
In total, 44 incidents were passed to officers for a written report, with eight recorded as crimes so far. Force priorities included a commercial burglary and domestic-related cases. No hate incidents were reported.
The update also featured police detection dog Bryn, described as having “a long history of success with his handler”.

PC 3604, who has been providing the daily social media updates, confirmed it was their last shift of the current run, with PC 3564 set to take over in the coming days.
The officer added: “It’s been lovely to provide the updates each day, and see that you appreciate them and they’re achieving what we set out to do, to give you more of an insight of what we’re up to day to day and the challenges we face.”
