Man charged with rape and assault following incident in Flintshire

A 27-year-old man has been charged with multiple sexual offences and assault following an incident in Caerwys.

Reece Wynne, of Greenbank Lane, Soughton, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Saturday, 8 February, charged with rape, sexual assault, wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and intentional strangulation.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Mold Crown Court on 14 March.

North Wales Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing but have not released further details.
