Illegal workers found following raid at Buckley beauty salon

A beauty salon in Buckley is facing a possible fine of up to £40,000 after the Home Office found illegal immigrants working at the premises according to a report by the BBC

Home Office Immigration enforcement officers found a Vietnamese child and a 33-year-old Vietnamese at Crystal Nails & Beauty shop on Mold Road in Buckley

The man now faces deportation after the raid on Tuesday, the child has been referred to social services
Crystal Nails & Beauty were served with an illegal worker notice.

“Those who use and exploit illegal workers face severe financial penalties,” Richard Johnson, from Immigration Enforcement in Wales told the BBC

“We are happy to work with businesses to ensure the right pre-employment checks are carried out, but those intent on operating outside the law will be found and will be punished.”
