Flintshire officer praised for helping stranded mobility scooter user

A North Flintshire police officer has been praised for an act of kindness after helping a resident whose mobility scooter had broken down.
Officers were alerted by concerned members of the public yesterday afternoon after seeing a woman struggling to push her broken-down scooter.
As it was too large to fit into the police van, officers ensured she got home safely.
Sergeant Dan then went beyond the call of duty by pushing the scooter back himself.
In a social media post, North Flintshire Police described it as an example of officers going the extra mile for the community:
“Yesterday afternoon, officers were flagged down by concerned members of the public about a resident struggling to push her broken-down mobility scooter.”
“While the scooter didn’t fit in the van, the officers ensured she was safely transported home, with Sgt Dan going the extra mile by pushing it back for her.”
“Another great example of our officers going beyond their duties to help the community.”
