Resident’s in Deeside have asked us about the traveller camp which has been set up on Wepre Park.

Here is a comment from Neal Cockerton, Flintshire County Council’s Chief Officer, Organisational Change, has said:

“Travellers arrived on Monday 6 June 2016 and are located to the rear of the Wepre Park frontage close to the boundary of the football pitch. Litter bags have been provided to the group for any rubbish so they can keep the area free from litter. The Council has already commenced the legal process to remove the travellers from the site.”
