Drivers urged to avoid A494 after road traffic collision near Llanferres
Drivers are being urged to avoid the A494 near Llanferres following a road traffic collision that has blocked the route in both directions.
North Wales Police issued a statement confirming the closure, saying: “ROAD CLOSED, A494 LLANFERRES, MOLD. Please avoid the A494 between Llanferres junction B5430 and Llanbedr Dyffryn-Clwyd due to an RTC. Please find an alternative route, as will be closed for emergency services to deal.”
A traffic report for the area states: “Road blocked and queueing traffic due to crash on A494 both ways near B5430.”
Emergency services are currently at the scene. Motorists travelling in the area are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid congestion.
