Co-op recalls pork and pickle pies over allergy risk

Co-op has recalled packs of its 4 Mini Pork & Pickle Pies because they contain milk that is not listed on the label.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the presence of milk makes the product a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
The recall affects the 200g packs with use-by dates of 13 August 2025, 14 August 2025 and 16 August 2025.
Customers who have bought the product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk are advised not to eat it. Instead, return it to the store for a full refund or replacement.
Those who purchased the pies online can request a refund by calling 0330 041 7737. Co-op’s Careline is available on 0800 0686 727 or via its website.
The company has issued point-of-sale notices to inform shoppers of the recall and has contacted relevant allergy support organisations.
The FSA said recalls are issued when there is a risk to consumers, such as missing or incorrect allergy labelling.
