Boy, 11, injured in Chester collision with Mini

Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a collision in Handbridge, Chester.

At around 6.30pm on Monday 8 September, officers were called to reports of a collision on Appleyards Lane.

On arrival, police found that a green Mini had collided with an 11-year-old boy at the junction of Prenton Place and Allington Place.

The driver of the Mini initially stopped at the scene, but no details were exchanged due to the urgency of gaining medical treatment.

Officers are urging the driver to come forward and would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage.
