Birds Eye Ltd. has recalled Goodfella’s Stonebaked Thin Garlic Bread (218g) after a mispacking error led to undeclared cheese in some packs.

This means the product contains milk, which is not listed on the packaging, posing a potential health risk for those with a milk allergy or intolerance.

The affected packs are limited to Co-op stores and can be identified by the batch code 5020 and a best-before date of December 2025.

No other Goodfella’s products or batch codes are affected.

Customers with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume the product.

Instead, they are advised to return it to the store for a full refund.

Alternatively, they can take a photo of the packaging showing the batch code and submit it via the Goodfella’s contact page along with their name, address, and contact details.

Birds Eye Ltd. has apologised for the inconvenience and has issued point-of-sale notices to inform customers.

Allergy support organisations have also been notified to spread awareness.

For more information, consumers can visit the Goodfella’s website or call 0800 088 5573.
