Aldi to create 250 new jobs in Flintshire and Cheshire
Aldi the discount supermarket giant is creating 250 new jobs, it has announced today.
The retailer is recruiting for various positions in Flintshire and Cheshire.
Aldi is looking for 140 store assistants, 50 stock assistants, 36 deputy store managers, 10 assistant store managers and a number of store managers for its new and existing stores in the area.
Jon Wilson, regional managing director at Aldi, said:
“Cheshire and North Wales are key areas of growth for us.
“With a number of new stores planned in 2015/16, we are recruiting for a significant number of store positions.
“We’re looking to attract applicants from a range of backgrounds and sectors including supermarket, fast-food and clothing chains who can demonstrate relevant experience in retail and the skills required to succeed in a fast-paced environment.”
The new recruits will work in Aldi’s existing stores in Flint, Mold, Wrexham, Chester and Ellesmere Port as well as upcoming stores in Buckley, Broughton and Bidston Moss due to open later this year.
