A5119 shut in New Brighton after vehicle fire

A section of the A5119 in New Brighton, Mold, has been closed following a vehicle fire.

North Flintshire Police said the road would remain closed until further notice while emergency services deal with the incident.

In an update posted on social media, the force said: “⚠️ AVOID THE AREA ⚠️ Due to a vehicle fire, the A5119 in New Brighton, Mold, will be closed until further notice. Emergency Services are currently on scene. Please avoid the area and consider alternative routes on your travels.”

Motorists are being asked to find alternative routes.
