Man arrested in Connah’s Quay in connection with spate of thefts from vehicles on Friday

Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a spate of thefts from vehicles in Connah’s Quay on Friday evening.

Officers are currently investigating the alleged thefts which took place around Richmond Road and Wepre Drive areas.

They are appealing to residents living close by to check CCTV footage for images of a male acting suspiciously, police have people to check their vehicles for any missing items.

Posting on the North Flintshire Police Team Facebook page, a spokesperson said, we are “currently investigating a spate of thefts from vehicles last night the 12/03/21 in the area of Richmond Road and Wepre Drive, Connah’s Quay.”

“A male is currently in Police Custody.”

“We urge you to check your vehicles for any items missing and ensure they are locked.”

“If you have any information or CCTV in relation to a male acting suspiciously, if you find items missing from your vehicles or evidence of interference with your vehicles last night please contact 101 quoting reference Z034252.”
