Funded by Flintshire Integrated Youth Provision, Consent tours a number of local secondary schools including Hawarden High School, Castell Alun High School and St David’s School in Saltney. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This interactive workshop, using live performance explores issues arising from sexual consent. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

In a safe and supportive environment, young people in year 9 will be exploring what makes a healthy relationship, the effects of alcohol and drugs on decision making, and how the law works in relation to consent. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The young people will be presented with a scenario performed by professional actors of a night out that ‘gets out of hand’ and the consequences for all those involved. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Each performance will be supported by a school nurse/youth worker and a member of the Integrated Youth Provision Team.  ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Consent is directed by Theatr Clwyd’s Creative Engagement Associate Emyr John (pictured above) and is performed by Lisa Angharad, Anni Dafydd and Sion Emyr.  ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
