Sunday Gathering Artisan Market returns to Mold today

The Sunday Gathering Artisan Market is back today, Sunday 27 July, bringing Mold’s town square to life with more than 27 artisan stalls, live entertainment, and a vintage car display.
Held monthly on the last Sunday from March to October, the market runs from 10am to 2pm on Daniel Owen Square, Earl Road, Mold. It celebrates local creativity, food, and community spirit, with this edition promising to be one of the best yet.
Visitors can discover a range of handmade products including award-winning pies, cakes, gluten-free and vegan treats, spicy Indian snacks, cheeses, and locally brewed beers. Hafod Brewery Mold will offer its refreshing ales, while K&G Chocolates will tempt with decadent creations.
The market also features craft, gift, and jewellery stalls showcasing unique handmade homeware and gifts, ideal for special purchases or treats.
Live entertainment comes from the Dee Sign Choir, performing from 11am to 1pm with an uplifting set to enjoy while browsing.
A vintage car display will take place in Meadow Place car park from 10am to 1pm, featuring classic vehicles including models from the North Wales Ford Meet, offering nostalgia for car enthusiasts of all ages.
Please note, Meadow Place car park will be closed to public parking during the market, but all other Mold car parks remain open and free on Sundays.
The Sunday Gathering CIC is a non-profit community interest company aiming to boost footfall in Mold on Sundays. Any surplus from the market supports local improvement projects in partnership with Mold Town Council.
Local artisans or classic car owners interested in joining the Sunday Gathering can apply for pitches at upcoming 2025 markets on 31 August, 28 September, and 26 October, or register early for 2026 events. Classic vehicle owners are also invited to take part in the car display.
