One person taken to hospital after a crash closes Sealand Road

Sealand Road is back open this afternoon after a collision involving a black Jaguar and a tipper truck closed the road at around 9.20 this morning. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Emergency services including three fire appliances and two ambulances attended the scene at the entrance to Dandy’s Topsoil close to the English and Welsh Border. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Its believed the car hit the tipper truck which was waiting to pull out onto Sealand road from Dandy’s. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

One man has been taken to the Countess of Chester hospital his injuries are not “life threatening” the Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Traffic built up through Saughall, diversions took other vehicles through Blacon while emergency services cleared the scene.  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
