Police warning of a ‘jewellery for cash’ scam

North Wales Police are warning about a scam which has been reported in both Flintshire and Wrexham over the last few days.

The scam involves someone approaching members of the public claiming to have run out of petrol, they then offer to sell jewellery in return for cash.

Police say its a scam and to be aware.
