Police officers at Deeside Leisure Centre and those deployed in the surrounding area for Thursdays firework display and bonfire will have additional powers in an operation named ‘Bleat’ aimed at stamping out any anti-social behaviour in the area.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/4″][gap size=”1px” id=”” class=”” style=””][/vc_column][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/2″][text_output]

The Notice gives police powers to ban anyone deemed to be carrying out acts of anti-social behaviour within the designated area for a set period of time, if they return within that period of time they face being arrested.

Thousands of families will attend the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) organised display on Thursday evening and police are clearly taking a proactive step in trying to reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour at the event, and the streets and area’s surrounding the leisure centre.

The long standing display is one of the most popular in north Wales and last year NWFRS raised a massive £15000 for local good causes.
