Police closed Shotton High Street this afternoon after a man was seen on the railway bridge

Police closed Shotton High Street for a short time this afternoon after a man was seen on the railway bridge.

Officers closed Chester Road West on both sides of the railway bridge at around 3.30pm.

A police spokesman said the man had been on the bridge, and on the tracks, officers took him to a place of safety at 3.40pm.
