Police close Northop Road following road traffic collision

Police have closed Northop Road in Northop this morning following a road traffic collision which has blocked the route.

The closure is in place from the junction of Church Road (near St Peter’s Church) to the crossroads between the High Street and the B5126.

Officers are currently at the scene managing the incident.

A police spokesperson said: “Northop Road in Northop is currently closed due to a road traffic collision blocking the road. It will be closed from the junction of Church Road (near St Peter’s Church) to the crossroads between the High Street and the B5126. Officers are currently on scene. Please avoid the area and consider alternative routes on your travels.”
