A recent charity event hosted by the Mayor of Mold was a resounding success, raising a significant sum of money for chosen charities.

The event, which included a dinner dance and auction, was held at the Beaufort Park Hotel in New Brighton and was attended by a number of local businesses, residents, groups, and organisations who all played a crucial role in the evening’s success.

The event raised an impressive £6,400, which will be awarded to the chosen charities at the end of the Mayoral term in May 2023.

The funds raised will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of those supported by the chosen charities.

The success of the event was made possible by the support of local businesses, residents, groups, and organisations, who all contributed to the fundraising efforts in various ways.

Attendees were able to bid on a range of auction items, including donated items from local businesses and organizations.

The generosity of those who attended was a testament to the community spirit of the town.

The Mayor expressed gratitude for the support of the evening’s sponsors, Mega Electric NW, MJP Evolutions, and the Synthite, and the Beaufort Park Hotel, which provided excellent food and service for the evening’s guests.

The Mayor also thanked everyone who attended the event, donated auction items or raffle prizes, and sponsored the event, without whom the event would not have been possible.

All funds will go to the Mayor’s “Save a Life, Make a Difference” Appeal, benefiting Mold Community Hospital League of Friends, Mold Alex Football Club, and North Wales Bowel Cancer Support Group.
