Gary Speed memorial 10k fun run in Colwyn Bay

Colwyn Bay Football Club will once again be holding a 10km fun run in memory of  Wales legend Gary Speed.

The Gary Speed Memorial 10km fun run will take place on Sunday July 12th at 11am.

The event, in memory of the former Welsh international player and manager, will start and finish at the club’s Llanelian Road ground in Old Colwyn and is again expected to take in Eirias Park and along the promenade through Rhos-on-Sea and back.

The fun run is open to all who would like to take part and raise money for good causes, entrance fee is £15.

Last year’s fun run attracted over 300 participants and was won by Darren Blazier of Abergele Harriers in 37mins 37 secs, while the first lady finisher was 67-year-old Christine Birch from Conwy.
