A Flint technology company is marking two years in business after growing its team and working with more than 70 organisations across North Wales.

Layer 4, founded in 2023, provides IT support and cybersecurity services to clients in sectors including education, healthcare, manufacturing and finance. The firm says its focus is on helping organisations keep their systems secure and running smoothly.

Since its launch, the business has expanded from a team of four to ten staff, delivering managed IT, cloud and communications services to customers across the region.

Managing Director Mark Hill said: “From day one, our goal has been simple: we put the customer at the forefront of everything we do. Over the past two years, we’ve loved helping our customers reduce downtime, keep their systems secure and adopt solutions that set them up for the future. Seeing them succeed is what drives us every day.”

Operations Director Jem Blackford added: “Every project we take on is about helping teams work smarter and more efficiently. From day-to-day support to implementing new solutions, we make sure our customers’ technology drives success – not headaches.”

Layer 4 says its customer base and revenue have grown by more than 140 per cent since 2023, and the firm has completed 46 projects aimed at improving security and reliability.

As it enters its third year, the team says it will continue supporting local businesses and embracing new technologies to help clients adapt to an ever-changing digital landscape.

Based in Flint, Layer 4 works with organisations across Deeside, Flintshire and the wider North Wales area.
