Flintshire County Council is inviting residents to give feedback on its new draft Consultation and Engagement Strategy, titled “Engaging Today to Transform Tomorrow”.

The draft strategy sets out how people can get involved, share views on the issues that matter to them, and contribute to improving existing services as well as shaping what services may look like in the future.

Feedback received during the consultation will help shape the final version of the strategy.

The consultation opened on 29 September and runs until 9 November 2025. It is open to all residents.

Those unable to complete the survey online can visit any of the Council’s Connects Centres where support will be available. Details of opening times are on the Council’s website or by calling 01352 703020.

Support will also be provided via the Gwella Mobile Library on the following dates: 30 September, 2, 15, 22, 24 and 27 October, and 4 and 6 November 2025.

Councillor Linda Thomas, Cabinet Member for Customer and Corporate, said: “I am a strong believer in community and that together we can achieve greater things. That’s why it’s important that the people of Flintshire are given every opportunity to have their say on the things that impact their lives and to work with the Council in helping to develop and improve the services they receive.

“It is important that every voice is heard and people are supported to get involved in ways that are best suited to their needs.

“We are committed to listening to what you tell us and I would encourage residents from all areas of the county to take part.”

More information and a link to the survey are available on the Council’s website: www.flintshire.gov.uk/ETTT-YHDY
