Ewloe man charged after drugs stop on Sealand Road

A man from Ewloe has been charged with drugs offences after police stopped a car on Sealand Road, Chester.

At around 2.50pm on Monday 13 October, officers from Chester Proactive CID stopped a blue Audi during a routine traffic check.

A number of items were found inside the vehicle and the driver was arrested at the scene.

Gary Novelli, 49, of Llys Padarn, Ewloe, has since been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and possession of criminal property (cash).

He has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear before Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday 14 October.
