Deeside power cut – engineers working to restore supply

A power cut is currently affecting parts of Deeside, with engineers working to restore supply.

SP Energy Networks has confirmed that the outage is due to a high voltage network issue (HV_N).

Their control centre is attempting to restore power remotely, while engineers are being sent to the area to investigate and fix the fault.

According to the company, electricity is expected to be restored by 3:39pm today (March 13, 2025).

The power cut is affecting multiple postcodes, including:

CH51AF, CH51SX, CH52AL, CH52DD, CH52DH, CH52DL, CH52DT, CH52EG, CH52GX, CH52PA, CH52PB, CH52PD, CH52PE, CH52PF, CH52PG, CH52PH, CH52PJ, CH52PL, CH52PN, CH52PP, CH52PQ, CH52PR, CH52PS, CH52PT, CH52PU, CH52PZ, CH52QA, CH52QJ, CH52QL, CH52QN, CH52QP, CH52QW, CH52QZ, CH52UW, CH53PG, CH53PQ, CH53SS, CH552PP.

A statement from SP Energy Networks said:

“Our control centre will attempt to restore your electricity supply remotely, and we will also send our next available engineers to the area to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible. We expect the power to be restored by 3:39 PM. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
