Deeside based Expert Group to create 100 new jobs.

Expert Group UK Ltd based at Deeside Industrial Estate is to create 100 jobs.

The Logisitcs support company has secured a £2.5m finance package from Barclays to support its growth strategy.

The driver and industrial recruitment agency recently won a £4m contract with a major UK supermarket to provide industrial workers at a large processing centre.

Established in 2006 Expert Group now employs 350 staff and provides drivers and logistic support solutions to some of the biggest supermarket operators.

Tony Osborne, managing director, said

“I decided to take the plunge in 2006 to start my own recruitment agency. The business has grown steadily and with the new finance f we will be able to continue our growth strategy which will create another 100 jobs over the next 12 months and push our turnover through the £10m barrier.”

Scott Monks, from Barclays. said:

“By working closely and really understanding the business, Barclays has been able to support Expert Group UK Ltd.

“Tony left school at 15 with no qualifications and is a great example of how experience, hard work and a great attitude can create future entrepreneurs.”

As well as its Deeside base Expert Group operate from a number of locations across the UK
