Connah’s Quay coach completes 180-mile run across Wales for charity

Connah’s Quay fitness coach and business owner Jack Sullivan has completed a 180-mile non-stop run along the full length of Wales, raising money for the Royal British Legion.
Jack, who runs JSPT Health Studio in Connah’s Quay and co-manages V2 Physique in Mold, covered the entire Offa’s Dyke Path from Chepstow to Prestatyn in two and a half days.
He faced tough conditions including rough terrain, heat, rain, exhaustion, and just two hours of sleep.
The run involved over 9,750 metres of elevation, higher than the height of Mount Everest.
Jack had attempted the route four weeks earlier but stopped at 108 miles due to exhaustion.
He said: “It’s been a personal goal for me this year. After the last attempt four weeks ago, I felt frustrated with how things ended. But I gave myself 24 hours to moan and then made the call to go again. It’s important to remember—you can rewrite your own story at any time.”
The run also raised vital funds for the Royal British Legion, a charity close to Jack’s heart as a former soldier.
Supported by friends, clients, local sponsors, and his partner Anna, Jack pushed through the challenge to complete the run.
In total, Jack consumed 10,500 calories, slept for only two hours, and battled through two and a half days without stopping.
He is now resting and recovering at JSPT Health Studio, where he coaches local residents in health and fitness.
Donations to the Royal British Legion are still open via Jack’s JustGiving page.
