A494 Queensferry westbound to shut overnight
Drivers are being warned of overnight closures on the A494 westbound at Queensferry Interchange later this week, as essential maintenance work is carried out.
The closures will take place on:
Thursday 27 March to Friday 28 March 2025 – from 8:00pm to 6:00am
Friday 28 March to Saturday 29 March 2025 – from 10:00pm to 6:00am
The work is being carried out to renew an expansion joint on the carriageway — a vital part of ongoing efforts to maintain road safety and infrastructure standards on the route.
A signed diversion will be in place during both closure periods, and motorists are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time for their journeys, or use alternative routes where possible.
The closures have been scheduled to take place overnight to minimise disruption during peak travel hours, but delays may still occur in the surrounding area.
