Witnesses sought after Chester Street collision in Flint

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Flint on Saturday night which left one driver with suspected serious injuries.

Officers said the incident happened on Chester Street, which was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.

A social media post issued by the force just after 9.15pm on Saturday stated: “Chester Street in Flint is currently closed due to a Road Traffic Collision and is expected to be closed for some time. Emergency Services are on scene. Please avoid the area and consider alternative routes on your travels.”

At 11.46pm, police confirmed the road had reopened, adding: “Road Closure Update – Chester Street in Flint is now open again. We thank members of the public for their patience.”
