Three arrested and five shoplifting reports in South Flintshire over the weekend

Police in South Flintshire dealt with 78 incidents between 4pm on Friday 24 October and 8am on Monday morning.
Officers from Flintshire South, the Mobile Response Unit and the Neighbourhood Policing Team responded to reports across the district.
Three arrests were made over the weekend in connection with a domestic incident and an affray.
Three people were reported missing during the same period, all of whom have since been found safe.
Support Sergeant Paul Jones said five reports of shoplifting had been received in the Mold and Broughton areas. He confirmed that the team will review CCTV footage this week to identify those responsible.
“We are about to enter a busy period in the run-up to Christmas. In the district, we will be tackling shoplifting in our towns and retail parks,” Sgt Jones said. “If you commit a theft, you never know one of us could be over your shoulder.”
He encouraged residents to report suspicious behaviour to store security or North Wales Police, and to engage with officers while out in the community.
“If you see any of my officers out and about, please go over and have a chat. They would love to speak to you,” he said.
