Police ”impact days” see arrests and searches in South Flintshire

Neighbourhood policing teams in South Flintshire have completed a series of “impact days” aimed at tackling organised crime and improving community safety.
North Wales Police officers carried out operations in Mold, Buckley, Broughton and Saltney over three days, working with immigration teams and the Roads Crime Unit.
Officers patrolled in marked and unmarked vehicles as well as plain clothes to identify offenders and gather intelligence.
The activity included house-to-house enquiries, five stop searches, and 11 community resolutions, out-of-court disposals, for low-level offences.
Officers also issued a child warning notice following a safeguarding concern and conducted two voluntary interviews.
A total of eight intelligence reports were submitted, and one person was arrested in partnership with Immigration Officers.
Neighbourhood Policing Teams said the impact days are part of ongoing efforts to target crime and engage with residents.
The operations are expected to continue regularly across the area.
Police have encouraged residents to share any local concerns through the North Wales Police website by searching for their area and using the “contact us” form.
The force said the initiative supports wider work to disrupt organised crime and protect communities.
