North Wales Police are appealing for information after a distinctive turquoise trike was stolen from the Saltney Ferry area between 5pm on Thursday 23 October and midday on Friday 24 October.

The three-wheeled cycle is described as turquoise or light blue in colour, with a large white wire basket fitted over the rear wheels and rear reflectors on each mudguard. It has a black saddle seat and standard bicycle handlebars.

Officers from the South Flintshire policing team said the trike’s custom appearance makes it easily recognisable and are asking anyone who may have seen it to get in touch.

In a statement, North Wales Police said: “This custom built distinctive trike was stolen from the Saltney Ferry area between 5pm on Thursday 23rd October and midday on Friday 24th October.

“If you have seen the trike or have any information that may help us with our enquiries, please contact us either by calling 101 or by clicking the link to our webchat facility. Please quote reference number C165201.”

Residents in the area are being asked to check CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the time of the incident.
