Lidl GB has recalled its Simply Roasted and Salted Cashews due to the possible presence of glass fragments.

The recall applies to 125g packs with a best-before date of 28 June 2026.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the product is unsafe to eat and should be returned to the store for a full refund.

The affected product has been sold across Wales, England and Scotland.

Lidl GB said point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all stores that sold the item.

These notices explain the reason for the recall and provide guidance for customers.

A spokesperson for Lidl GB said customers who purchased the product should not eat it and can return it to any Lidl store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

For further information, customers can contact Lidl Customer Care at [email protected] or by calling 0203 966 5566.

The Food Standards Agency explained that recalls are issued when there is a food safety concern that requires products to be withdrawn from sale or returned by consumers.
