Large amount of equestrian gear stolen in Flintshire: Police issue appeal
Flintshire’s equestrian community is on high alert following a significant theft from a property in Babell, Holywell.
North Wales Police have launched an appeal after a considerable amount of equine equipment was stolen while the owner was away.
The stolen items, include 14 saddles and 24 bridles of premium brands and types.
Furthermore, power tools and a ride-on mower were taken.
Of the saddles reported stolen, these include an Equip Synergy Monoflap, Stubben jumping saddle, Stubben Parzival saddle, Albion 5000 dressage saddle, Equipe synergy jumping saddle, and a Prestige saddle.
Additionally, four Stubben Siegfried saddles, two Thorowgood synthetic pony saddles, an Australian Stock saddle, and an Albion K2 saddle have been reported missing.
The bridles are a mix of renowned Stubben and Amerigo brands.
The precise location of the theft and its exact timeline remain undisclosed.
However, officers have made an appeal to the equestrian community to remain vigilant.
Given the specific nature and the value of the stolen items, North Wales Police are actively looking for leads that can help trace the equipment.
