Connah’s Quay based Keystone Property sells lettings arm to Cavendish

Property specialist Cavendish has acquired the lettings portfolio of Keystone Property and Mortgage Centre, a Connah’s Quay-based estate agent.
Cavendish, with offices in Chester, Ruthin and Mold, said the acquisition will support the expansion of its property management business.
Meanwhile, Keystone will concentrate on its growing estate agency and mortgage broking services across North Wales, Chester and Wirral.
David Adams, managing director of Cavendish, said the two companies share similar values and ethos. He added: “We look forward to welcoming Keystone’s landlord clients into the Cavendish family and building on the high level of customer service they have come to expect from the Keystone team.
“The acquisition is an important next step in our own strategic growth plans and we look forward to adding further appropriate acquisitions to our business.”
Ben Roberts, managing director of Keystone Property and Mortgage Centre, said the decision had been carefully considered over six months. He said: “Our priority has always been our landlord clients and ensuring continuity of care, service, and trust.
“After a series of highly productive meetings and discussions, we were delighted to agree a deal with Cavendish, a company that shares our values and approach to customer service. Their team brings a wealth of experience and a strong reputation for professionalism and integrity.”
Ben Roberts added the sale would allow Keystone to focus fully on its estate agency and mortgage services, aiming to improve customer experience for buyers and sellers.
The sale also enables Glenys Roberts, who has managed the lettings agency for many years, to retire.
