Tesco recalls fruit medley over salmonella risk

Tesco is recalling its 230g Grape & Berry Medley after salmonella was found in the product.

The recall applies to packs with use by dates of 16 February 2026 and 17 February 2026.

The Food Standards Agency said the risk was “The presence of Salmonella in the product listed above.”

Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.

The agency advises that anyone experiencing these symptoms should stay away from work, school or nursery until they have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing it on to others.

Tesco has issued a recall notice to customers explaining why the product is being recalled and what to do if they have bought it.

Consumers who have purchased the affected product are advised not to eat it and to return it to any Tesco store for a full refund.
