Manifesto: Welsh Conservative Manifesto 2021 (PDF)

Mark Isherwood – Welsh Conservative Party
I live in Flintshire with my wife, Hilary. We have six children and four grandchildren.
I have represented North Wales in the Senedd since 2003, having previously worked locally as a building society area manager, with branches in Mold and Flint.
After 22 years of Labour Welsh Governments, Welsh Conservatives offer a new deal for Delyn and North Wales.
I am campaigning to:

Get our health board services back on track, including a new community hospital in Flint;
Deliver fair funding for Delyn’s short-changed local authority services and schools;
Stop the ‘Red Route’ to the A55 at Northop announced by Labour Ministers;
Upgrade the A55, deliver a North Wales Metro, integrating public transport with active travel, and improve rail links;
Deliver a council tax freeze;
Abolish business rates for small businesses, invest in green energy, create jobs;
Build 100,000 homes over 10 years, including 40,000 social homes;
Support young people – including more apprenticeships, free bus travel and discounted rail travel for 16-24 year olds, and mental health services;
Support older people, including free prescriptions, free bus passes and an Older People’s Bill;
Champion Disability Rights, including an Autism Bill and a British Sign Language Bill;
Keep our UK united.
