Emergency repair work is affecting water supplies in Shotton and surrounding parts of Deeside, with residents reporting no water or reduced pressure.

The incident is listed as stage three repair work, meaning Welsh Water crews are on site carrying out repairs.

Customers in the affected area have been warned they may experience disruption while work continues.

According to the latest update, the issue was last reviewed at 10.39pm on Monday, with an estimated completion time of 1am on Tuesday, 11 February.

Those affected have been advised that water supplies are expected to be fully restored in the early hours of the morning.

Residents are also being warned that some temporary discolouration may occur once supplies return, and running a cold kitchen tap may help clear this.

People who rely on water for medical needs, or who are elderly or disabled, are encouraged to ensure they are registered for priority support.
