Parts of Shotton are experiencing issue with water after a burst main on the Welsh Water network.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water said the burst pipe is affecting supplies across the Shotton area of Deeside.

Customers may notice little or no water until repairs are completed.

The incident is currently at stage three, with repair work under way.

Welsh Water said it expects all supplies to be fully restored later this evening.

An update published on the company’s In Your Area service said running a cold kitchen tap may help to clear any discolouration once water returns.

Welsh Water has apologised for the disruption and said further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
