Toyota Deeside opens applications for 2026 apprenticeships
Toyota Manufacturing UK has confirmed that applications are now open for its 2026 intake of Production and Maintenance Apprenticeships at its engine manufacturing plant in Deeside.
The apprenticeships are based at the company’s site on Deeside Industrial Park and are aimed at people looking to start a career in manufacturing and engineering through a mix of on-site training and academic study.
Two apprenticeship routes are available.
The Production Apprenticeship is a 12-month programme focused on lean manufacturing, teamwork and safe working practices in a modern production environment.
Apprentices will work towards a range of qualifications while training both at the Deeside plant and with Coleg Cambria.
The Maintenance Apprenticeship is a longer, 44-month programme designed to train engineering technicians.
Apprentices will learn skills including electrical installation, fabrication, robotics and programmable logic controls, alongside college-based learning and hands-on work at the engine plant.
Both programmes are scheduled to begin in September 2026.
As part of the recruitment process, Toyota is holding open evenings at its Deeside site to give prospective applicants and their families the opportunity to learn more about the apprenticeships.

Attendees will have the chance to find out more about the roles, speak with Toyota staff, and see parts of the Deeside facility.
