Police helicopter deployed after car fails to stop in Flint area

North Wales Police have confirmed two separate incidents in Flint which led to a significant police presence in the town on the same day.
In a social media post, North Wales Police North Flintshire said officers were first deployed after a vehicle failed to stop for traffic officers.
The force was supported by NPAS, the National Police Air Service helicopter.
Later the same evening, officers responded to a road traffic collision where a driver had struck a parked car and left the scene.
North Wales Police North Flintshire stated: “You may have noticed a heavy police presence in the area this afternoon with support from NPAS (police helicopter). This was because a vehicle had failed to stop for Traffic officers.
“There was also a heavy response this evening, this time to an RTC where a driver had hit a parked car and driven off. They’ve now been arrested.
“Thankfully there’s been no injuries.”
