H beauty to open at former Debenhams site in Chester next week

A new Harrods-owned beauty store is set to open in Chester city centre next week, bringing the former Debenhams site back into use.
H beauty will officially open its Chester store on Thursday 12 February.
The site, on Eastgate Street, has been vacant since Debenhams closed and will become the brand’s seventh store in the UK and its first in the North West.
The new store has been designed to combine retail space with in-store consultations, treatments and events, offering products across skincare, make-up, haircare, body care and fragrance.
H beauty Chester will stock a wide range of established and emerging beauty brands, including Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Gisou, Color Wow, Creed and Maison Crivelli.
To mark the opening, H beauty Chester will run a four-day launch event from 12 to 15 February.
During the opening period, shoppers can expect 10% off purchases, a series of brand-led masterclasses and treatments, and a ‘build your own goodie bag’ offer for MyBeauty loyalty members spending £75 or more in store.

The store will also introduce L’Occitane and Dr Belmeur to the H beauty portfolio for the first time.
The Chester branch will be the first H beauty location to offer the full range of services from Brow Spa, alongside personalised services such as fragrance consultations and in-store treatments.
Interactive areas and a dedicated space for demonstrations and tutorials will also form part of the layout.
An EL&N Café will operate within the store, providing food and drink alongside the retail offer.
Mia Collins, Director of Beauty Buying at Harrods and H beauty, said the opening marked an important step for the brand.
“The launch of H beauty Chester is a significant milestone in our mission to bring beauty to more people across the UK,” she said.
“As our first North West store, located in Eastgate Square at the heart of the city, it demonstrates our investment in vibrant communities and our dedication to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces.”
To mark the opening, H beauty Chester will host a series of events from 12 to 15 February for MyBeauty loyalty members, including brand-led masterclasses, treatments and promotional offers.
Opening hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am to 5pm on Sundays, with browsing only between 10.30am and 11am.
