Flintshire Road closed after a lorry brings down power lines

Police are asking drivers to avoid the B5122, road leading up to Caerwys from A541 in Afonwen after a road traffic collsion.

A lorry has hit an electric pole which has brought down power cables, the B5122 is closed in both directions between A541, Afonwen and Chapel Street, Caerwys.

The road is likely to be closed for the remainder of the day.
