Flintshire Road closed after a lorry brings down power lines

Police are asking drivers to avoid the B5122, road leading up to Caerwys from A541 in Afonwen after a road traffic collsion. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A lorry has hit an electric pole which has brought down power cables, the B5122 is closed in both directions between A541, Afonwen and Chapel Street, Caerwys. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The road is likely to be closed for the remainder of the day. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
