Flint property raided and cannabis grow stripped out after tip from housing association

A cannabis grow has been found and dismantled at a property in Flint following a joint operation between North Wales Police and Clwyd Alyn Housing.
Officers from North Wales Police’s North Flintshire team attended the address after working with the housing association, which manages properties across the area.
The grow was discovered inside the property and subsequently dismantled by officers.
North Wales Police North Flintshire shared images of the cannabis plants, which included photographs of a large quantity of plants packed into the back of a police van, and further images showing a substantial indoor growing setup with artificial lighting.
The force did not confirm the number of plants seized, the estimated street value, or whether any arrests were made.
North Wales Police said the operation was “another great example of how working closely with our partner agencies helps us protect our communities and tackle criminal activity together.”
Anyone with information about suspected drug activity in Flint or elsewhere in Flintshire can contact North Wales Police on 101 or report anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
