Driver flees stolen Land Rover after collision in Connah’s Quay

A stolen Land Rover was involved in a road traffic collision on Pen Y Llan, Connah’s Quay this afternoon before the driver fled the scene, North Wales Police has said.

The collision happened at around 3.30pm on Friday 13 March.

North Wales Police North Flintshire said the Land Rover had been reported stolen and the driver left the vehicle before officers arrived.

The collision happened at the end of the school day, with children walking home in the area at the time.

North Wales Police said “vehicles belonging to innocent parties had been damaged in the incident.”
