Trains are running normally again say Network Rail following earlier disruption between Chester and Wrexham. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Trains between Wrexham and Chester were  cancelled after a person was hit close to the level cross on Lache Lane Balderton in Cheshire. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Arriva Trains Wales say services running through Wrexham General and Chester could be cancelled and delays by up to 60 minutes. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

There has been disruption to services between Wrexham, Shotton and Bidston following the incident. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Coaches have been arranged to take people between Wrexham and Bidston – this will include Shotton. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Replacement bus services have been arranged in both directions. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Disruption was expected to last through rush hour until at least 09:00. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Virgin Trains services are also affected. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

There were no further details of the person’s condition. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
