If you’re looking to head out of Deeside via the M56 this Friday afternoon you’ll need to add an extra hour onto journey times, due impart to an collision which blocked one lane on the eastbound carriageway between J14 Hapsford in Elton and J12 Runcorn.

All lanes are reported to be back open but there is still very heavy traffic in the area.

The crash is believed to have involved an HGV and a car, it has now been moved to the hard shoulder.
