A Deeside-based outdoorwear company has launched a new women’s clothing collection aimed at bridging the gap between winter and spring.

ACAI, a female-only outdoorwear brand founded by Kasia Bromley, has unveiled its latest capsule collection, Rise and Reset.

The collection is designed to support layering during changeable weather and includes leggings, gilets, waterproof coats, long-sleeve tops, beanies and gloves.

ACAI says the range combines warmth with lighter, seasonal colours, using materials such as bamboo and merino wool. Colours featured include mandarin, limeade and baja blue.

The business, which is based in Deeside, focuses exclusively on women’s outdoor clothing, with designs shaped around female body fit.

A key item in the new range is the Rainlite Waterproof Jacket, which is designed for outdoor activities such as walking and everyday use. The jacket includes a lightly padded quilted lining, multiple pockets and a fleece-lined hood.

The collection also expands ACAI’s fleece range and includes updated versions of existing products, including the Rainscape Jacket, the company’s fully taped and breathable waterproof coat, now available in new colour options.

Kasia Bromley, creative director and co-founder of ACAI Outdoorwear, said: “Our new Rise and Reset Collection is inspired by misty early mornings and the emergence from deep winter hibernation to the first signs of spring, so layering and thermal pieces remain key. We’ve included a small selection of ACAI personality pieces and further built out the core range with brighter colour pops that will take them into spring and beyond.”

ACAI says its wider aim is to encourage more women to spend time outdoors by producing clothing that is practical, high-performance and designed specifically for women.

Further information about the collection is available through the ACAI Outdoorwear website.
