Asda slash petrol prices to a 5 year low

From today, Monday 26th October -they will be cutting unleaded by up to 2ppl and 1ppl on diesel – meaning motorists won’t pay more than 103.7p per litre on unleaded and 106.7ppl at any of our 273 filling stations.

Asda say the latest fuel price drop puts the price of petrol at a new five-year low – 5p per litre cheaper than the UK national average.
According to the latest data from the AA, Asda has been the cheapest place to fill up throughout 2015.
The supermarket are also calling on the Government to maintain its freeze on fuel duty in next month’s Autumn statement.
Andy Clarke, Asda’s President & CEO said:
“There are undoubtedly green shoots at a macroeconomic level and our customers are cautiously optimistic which is why they continue to save, particularly at this time of year. With this in mind, we urge the chancellor to continue with a freeze on fuel duty in the Autumn Statement to avoid putting more pressure on family budgets.”
