Lanes closed on A55 following road traffic accident between Ewloe and Northop.

Emergency services are attending a collision into the central reservation. Lane two eastbound is also closed due to the damaged barrier.

Another report says one lane closed due to accident on the opposite carriageway on A55 Eastbound between J33A Brookside (Northop Hall East) and J33B A494 Mold Road (Ewloe).

A temporary diversion was set up via the A494 to Mold, A4119 through Sychdyn and returning to the A55 at Northop (J33)

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman has said: “We were called at 9.10am to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway of the A55 in the Northop area.

“We’ve got a paramedic in a rapid response car and a crew in an emergency ambulance at the scene.”
